Selection

I’m not going to win anything for originality here, but, Profound Beauty is very very strong on the trends to retain her title.

The Dermot Weld mare is taking the same path as she took to taking The Ballyroan last season, when winning The Curragh Cup and The Challenge Stakes here last month – only hiccup being her 2l defeat by Tactic in The Curragh Cup in June, when she didn’t let herself down on the faster ground. She bounced back with a 5 1/2l win in The Challenge Cup here prompting Weld to declare  ”She`s just a joy to train and one of the best mares I`ve ever trained and ever will train.”
