As if things couldn’t get any worse for the poor Betting Terminator… Today, BT’s fans had first to endure a stewards enquiry reversal, relegating first past the post Kathindi to second place (in fairness, that one also hampered my own Geegeez.co.uk club horse, Always De One, but bemusingly was only demoted one place!).
Insult was duly added to injury an hour later, when the only other selection on the day was beaten a short head at 5.52, having traded as low as 1.12 in running!
Four second places on the bounce is cold comfort indeed for Betting Terminator punters.
Bottom line: another two points lost on the day.
