Big Zeb to Have a November Return
The Queen Mother Champion Chase hero, Big Zeb has come back no worse for wear from his summer break and his trainer Colm Murphy is looking at a November return to racing.
After a superb performance at the Cheltenham Festival, ultimately achieving his unquestioned expectations, the nine-year-old could return to action in the Fortria Chase at Navan, an event he won in last year.
“He’s not long been back in and is just starting off with some easy work at the moment,” said Murphy.
“He’s done extremely well during the summer, thankfully, and I’m absolutely delighted with him.
“We’ll be in no panic with him this season and he will probably just get the one run before Christmas.
“He’ll probably start off in the Fortria Chase, as he did last year, and then we’ll probably wait until Christmas with him this time.”
