Boylesports Announced as National Stakes Sponsor
The new sponsor of the National Stakes has been announced on Friday as Boylesports. The Group One feature is scheduled for Saturday 11th September included in a prestigious listing of events, which spotlights The Irish Field St Leger.

Curragh Racecourse
The announcement is another constructive advance for the €200,000 event, after the disclosure that top two year old Pathfork is anticipated to be supplemented into the seven furlongs event.
The National Stakes is among the top events for two year olds in Europe, with victories in past years being scored by the likes of New Approach, Teofilo, George Washington and Sinndar.
Connected with the memory of legend Vincent O’Brien from 2009, the event perpetual trophy is presented by the O’Brien Family to the triumphant owner.
Curragh Racecourse General Manager, Paul Hensey stated, “We are delighted to welcome back Boylesports to the Curragh, having previously enjoyed an excellent partnership with them when they sponsored the Irish Guineas Festival.”
He continued, “We now look forward to working with them to help maximise their new association with what is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious races for juveniles in Europe.”
Head of Marketing for Boylesports, Mark Nunan said, “Once again, we are delighted to show our commitment to top level Irish racing by sponsoring the Boylesports.com Vincent O’Brien National Stakes. It will be great to be back at headquarters after sponsoring the Boylesports.com Irish Guineas for so long.”
