How many times have I harped on about betting portfolios and not looking for a quick buck, but consistent returns?? Too many I hear most of you cry!
Still, here I am again about to do the same thing, but with it will come what I believe a little gem of a system. Designed not so much for taking a monthly income from, but for building for a few months or even years – a bit of a pension fund if you will.
Cash Booster comes from Sportsworld Publishing, and I’m pleased to say I’ve had the chance to check it out over the past couple of months and I’m impressed. Not ‘oh my God, I can’t believe this, I’m retiring now’ impressed, more ‘what a cracking little system that I can use to stick money away for a rainy day’ impressed. The system comes in a whole six page PDF doc, with the first two pages full of the Title of the system on one and the copyright details on the other. The system appears on page three and then the last three pages are blank (not sure why but…) Yup, it’s another oh so simple system that I just LOVE!
There are a total of seven rules to adhere to, three for the type of race to look at and four for finding your selection. The odds you’re backing at aren’t huge at a maximum of 9/4 although there is scope to increase that to 11/4.
Cash Booster is surprisingly selective and, on average, you can expect just one bet a week. Some will see this as a positive and some as a negative but this is the reason I’d look at this as a way to put money away for a rainy day. In the two and a half years since it’s inception the authors claim the longest losing run to be just five with regular runs of winners.
There are a couple of different staking plans that can be adopted with this one. Obviously level staking is the easiest and safest way to bet any system, however, the short losing runs mean it’s possible to adopt a more aggressive plan to boost your profits. The one laid out in the guide is 10% staking and this has seen the profits increase from £6500 over the two years level staking to over £15000 if adopting this more aggressive strategy.
I had planned to give you a breakdown of my results over the past couple of months, but my laptop crash put paid to that. My experience mirrored that of the previous months results though. It took a few minutes each morning to check if there were any potential qualifiers and then a quick check before the off to double check the prices. There weren’t vast amounts of bets and I’d estimate I had around a 50% strike rate. For my short trial I placed small level stakes bets and my bank was definitely growing, although again I can’t give exact figures, but I’d say the 10% staking is definitely viable.
As I said at the outset, I’d be looking for Cash Booster to tick over in the background and perhaps once a year or so take a chunk of profit out. It’s far from high maintenance and looks to be a solid little earner, so it’s a no brainer really.
