Listowel Target for De Bromhead
After using last year’s Listowel Festival to begin the jumps career of Loosen My Load, Henry De Bromhead has entered Winston Churchill for Monday’s bumper the two mile Bank Of Ireland Flat Race.

De Bromhead commented on Thursday, “I’d say Winston Churchill will run in Listowel. He was good that day (at Lisronagh), winning well. He is a nice young horse. We’ll see, we are just finding out more and more about him but he seems a nice horse.
“We’ve entered a few down there. The same day Kotkidy is in the novice chase, Queiros Bleu is entered on the Wednesday – in the novice hurdle. Beckwith Star is in the maiden hurdle on Wednesday. China Goes Green is in the handicap chase.
“Sizing Africa might go for the conditions chase on the Friday. Loosen My Load might run in the amateur riders flat race on the last day. He’ll be entered anyway and we’ll see.
“The Hares Corner is in a two mile beginners chase. There are other entries too but it will depend on ground and all sorts of things.”
