TWO-YEAR-OLD NOTES:

2.00 Goodwood:

Uncle Jerry – “A little smasher – best value horse I bought last year” – quote by Richard Hughes

2.20 Haydock:

Tom Dascombe is already talking of the ‘Chesham’ as a likely target for Arthur Kitt before getting today’s debut effort out of the way!

Good Fortune represents Charlie Appleby with New Approach being the sire of this individual.  The dam Mazuna was a Group 2 & Group 3 winner and is a half sister to six winners.

2.45 Bath:

Richard Hannon reports that K Club is doing everything asked of her to date , quoting “she’s grand”.

New Queen offers something of a dilemma as Charlie Hills originally pencilled in six/seven furlong races for this nice type but is now persisting over the minimum trip.

3.55 Bath:

Richard Hannon’s words before Hua Hin won on debut, “Sharp – working well – knows his job”.
