6.00: Invermere looks too big at 12/1 with Sportingbet

Chelmsford: I doubt that Real Estate will be returned at 50/1 which is available with quite a few firms, though Hills have already taken a hit by the look of things – now 20/1 with them

Can’f find anything of note at Newton Abbot…

This was the regular message offered earlier this morning:

Regular readers will know that I am contracted to offer stats for the Sporting Life on Friday/Saturday/Sunday whereby my work on here is not as exhaustive compared to earlier days in the week.  That said, I still try and offer snippets of information within the hectic schedule which includes my Daily Analysis for Geegeez which can also be found via my Twitter page.

One stat cannot be overlooked today, especially when it relates to a 10/1 chance!

Paul Nicholls boasts sensational figures at Newton Abbot this season which at present read as 13/20, stats which have produced 15 points of level stake profit.  Paul’s only entry on the card is 10/1 chance Trevisani at 3.25.  It’s worth noting that EVERY firm this morning has the horse in at 10/1.  You could probably wade through each and every race today and not find that fact repeated.

What I have to report however is that Paul has not saddled a winner at this meeting during the last five years though looking at the situation positively, why has he bothered then to declare just one runner?  Surely Trevisani has to be worth a small saver, even to minimum stakes today.  For the record, Paul’s stats (under both codes) since the start of May read as follows: 28/78 (35.9% strike rate), a ratio which has produced 16 points of level stake profit.
