This was the general message today for my Daily Stats readers:
Today’s stats are based solely on soft and/or heavy ground winners at the main two meetings, namely Ascot & Haydock. Stratford (somehow) race on good (good to firm in places) ground, whilst Thirsk is on the good side of soft from what I can deduce. Very best of luck today guys though at the two main meetings, please tread carefully! Superior stats are offered in bold for horses with two or move victories to their names.
I once did some work for one of the leading firms where it was my job (alongside others) to deduce (exactly) in which races punters staked their bets. I visited a shop one Monday morning in London, sifting through each and every one of their two thousand + betting slips on the relevant day which determined that 87% of the races in which people placed their bets (including all selections in Lucky 15 bets and the like) were those placed on TV races in those far off days when there were only terrestrial options.
I suspect nothing much has changed; hence the study of today’s two ‘main’ meetings. Races which are not (seemingly) covered include no winners on the relevant ground.
My Market Move News will follow later though be aware that with so many non runners likely today, markets could be viewed as ‘base over apex’ at times.
1/1– To Dibba
1/1–Dee Ex Bee
1/2–Learn By Heart
1/1–Spirit Of Valour
I am not suggesting that putting the horses in bold makes the relevant horses ‘superior’ in any shape or form, but thought that they deserved to be highlighted, nothing more – nothing less.
Be lucky of course but as ever – Be aware!
