Mal Boyle stats – Sunday 1st

Saturday’s school report:

4 MMA WINNERS on Saturday at 9/1 (returned at 6/1), 4/1 (5/1), 7/2 (2/1) & 10/3 (2/1) notwithstanding Euchen Glen’s narrow defeat in the ‘secondary’ Northumberland Placepot at 10/1 (7/1)

My new Daily Analysis starts today (up and running by 7.00am) for just £15.00 which covers July/August/September.  The focus will be on one meeting each day offering a win selection/each way option/outsider to consider, dependent on the number of runners in each race.

The service includes a ‘Nursery’ sector each day (when applicable) with the first two-year-old handicap due to be contested at Haydock on Thursday.

Tom Dascombe trained the successful 2/1 favourite in last year’s inaugural contest with Tom holding three entries this time around.

Five Helmets was fourth at 25/1 last time out having previously been beaten just four lengths in a Windsor contest.  Stable companion Finoah might do better of the pair with Richard Kingscote already showing preference though by the look of things, Richard is undecided on his options as he is also potentially booked aboard Dark Thunder which is my idea of the pick of the trio at the time of writing.

Tom’s latter named April foal was third in Chester’s ‘Lily Agnes’ on his second start and it’s worth noting that Tom still has two big race entries at the back end of the season for this individual who has been given a handicap mark of 77.

Tom saddled nine Nursery winners last year and his record with two-year-old handicappers at Haydock was 1/4.

Damn – I’m giving the game away for free……!

Wednesday’s addition will be packed with Nursery stats from last year with snippets of information from previous seasons.  Can you afford to miss out for the sake of 17p a day?

  1. It’s a shame you have ditched the Placepot Review . i really enjoyed your insight and it has helped me to win some nice dividends although not always using all of your selections !
the 2yo info is useful but the rest you can find on Betfair ie the graphs for the price movements and Oddschecker is pretty good for checking prices etc. Sorry to sound harsh Malcolm but like you say it is cheap but please bring back the Placepot element !!

  2. The Placepot stuff just isn’t popular any more (hence my contract was ended) given the bigger picture and whole situation is only going to get worse with the division within the bet. My work has only ever been offered as a time-saver element whereby it’s meant to be like a ‘one stop shop’ for people who like their facts and stats with an element of humour and opinion. Many thanks for your kind comments for the Placepot work – I wish you well with all your future ‘Pots Simon….

  3. Thanks for your reply Malcolm , i am gutted and will really miss your Placepot stats . maybe you can give me some advice on how to go about compiling the Stats myself ? do you use any kind of database or service to compile them or has it just been a labour of love !!

  4. Totally a labour of love Simon – as ‘er inddors’ can confirm as she endeavours to find some spare space in the flat – there’s paper everywhere as I am that type of chap, I trust my own paper work more than computers!
