Mal Boyle stats – Sunday 30th

Regular readers will know that the bulk of my work is featured in my Sporting Life column which is usually available by 9.30 on Friday/Saturday/Sunday – available via the link on my Twitter page.

Other factors to take into account today:

SALISBURY:

Two of the first three runners saddled by Sir Michael Stoute won at the track last year, whilst his final ratio of 5/18 at the venue produced 6 points of level stake profit – 3 runners there today: Adamant (3.30), Nadaitak (4.00) & Aristocratic (5.00)

Andrew Balding was the top trainer at Salisbury last year (9/45) and his three runners today are attractively priced: Galactic Prince (3.30), Great And Small (4.30) & Rely On Me (5.00)

THIRSK:

Richard Fahey secured a 94/1 treble at the first meeting of the season at Thirsk – 3 runners there today: Scotch Myst (3.15), Grandad’s World (4.45) & Heatongrad (5.45).  Mind how you go at Thirsk however as five of last year’s eight winners on the card scored at 40/1 – 20/1 – 12/1 – 12/1 – 8/1

I hope that you made a profit at Punchestown last week – I posted these words before the five day meeting started last week relating to the two leading trainers in 2016:

12 winners–Willie Mullins – Seven winning favourites alongside gold medallists returned at 16/1, 14/1 & 11/2.

4 winners–Gordon Elliott (25/1, 12/1, 8/1 & 6/4*)

And this year?

Willie posted 9 winners last week which produced level stake profits of 10 points – included those at 20/1 – 12/1 – 10/1 – 8/1 – 7/1

Gordon weighed in with 5 gold medallists at 25/1 – 14/1 – 7/1 – 11/8* & Evens* – 4 point level stake loss

An aggregate of 6 points profit was gained having enjoyed a lot of fun via 120 runners!

Be lucky but as ever – be aware!
