Mal Boyle Stats – Thursday 17th May

Wednesday’s school report:

Another day when we hit the bar with four horses which finished second at 12/1 (returned at 7/1), 10/1 (SP), 6/1 (7/2) & 13/2 (7/2) which would have been nice had they gone one better to join our winners at 8/1 (11/4) & 7/2 (early price & SP).

William Haggas was highlighted at York having saddled winners at the corresponding meeting last year with the trainer snaring a 21/1 double yesterday, whilst we secured a 201/1 Exacta for Richard Fahey via his (first named) pair mentioned in my York analysis in the 4.35 on the Knavesmire.

Clutching at draws maybe, but we need confidence on days like this and I make no apology from finding it from anywhere!
