Mal Boyle stats – Thursday 20th

NEWMARKET:

Loyal readers might have noted that I offered up three trainers (John Gosden, Charlie Appleby and John Quinn) who showed good early season form on the Rowley Mile last season, writing before this year’s three day fixture began on Tuesday morning.  I offered winning trainers who now boast aggregate stats of 8/21 – winners which have produced level stake profits of 36 points.  Yesterday the ‘media experts’ were offering stats – after the event – no change there! Taking into account the number of relevant runners today, we are assured of level stake profits of at least 28 points…..and still people ‘disbelieve’!

Represented trainers today who have saddled winners at ‘Headquarters’ during the last two days:

5/11–John Gosden (+28) – 5 runners today: Castle Harbour (2.25), Pealer & Grieg Hall (4.45), Tricorn & Shamrokh (5.20)

2/8–Charlie Appleby (+4) – 3 runners: Hold Sway & Oasis Charm (4.45) & Mystique Moon (5.20)

1/3–Aidan O’Brien (+1) – 1 runner: War Decree (3.35)

1/3–Saeed Bin Suroor (+2) – 2 runners: Benbati (3.35) & Tamleek (4.45)

1/8–Richard Hannon (+3) – 4 runners: Tabaarak (2.25), Larchmont Lad (3.35), About Glory (4.45) & Pillar Of Society)

1/8–Charlie Hills – 3 runners: Hilario (1.50) & Manaahil & Coya (4.10)

CHELTENHAM:

Represented trainers today who saddled winners at the course yesterday:

2/3–Nicky Henderson (+3) – 4 runners: Casablanca Mix & Verdana Blue (2.05), Theatre Terriroty (3.15) & Melangerie (5.30)

1/2–Neil Mulholland (+2) – 3 runners: Indian Stream (3.15), Solomn Grundy (4.20) & The Wicket Chciken (5.30)

1/2–Fergal O’Brien (+7) – 1 runner: Luccombe Down (4.20)

1/4–Colin Tizzard – 2 runners: On Demand (3.15) & Gentleman Jon (3.50)

RIPON:

A feature of the flat tracks which have already staged meetings this year is the fact that similar ‘early season’ results have ensued, whereby I offer a few decent priced horses today under the same guise.

3/10–John Quinn (13/2, 5/1 & 11/10*) – One 20/1 chance today: Trick Of The Lyte (5.05)

2/3–James Tate (15/8* & 11/10*) – 3 runners on the card: Under Offer (2.15), Showdancing (2.50) & Amazement (4.00)

2/6–Bryan Smart (14/1 & 3/1*) – 2 runners: Straightothepoint (3.25) & Outfox (5.05)

If it’s last year’s leading Ripon trainers information you want then here are the relevent three names though you will have sift through their runners today with an aggregate of 26 runners having been declared!

11/47–Mark Johnston (+18) – 5 runners today

10/77–Tim Eassterby (+6) – 11 runners

9/70–Richard Fahey – 10 runners

One in form trainer to add to the list today (you can find the rest posted in earlier ‘editions’ this week) is Mick Easterby; 4/8 – (+7) – 1 runner today: Black Grass (6.05 Ripon)

Be lucky but as ever – be aware!
