Mal Boyle Stats – Thursday 29th

Wednesday’s school report:

My ‘late wire’ service proved successful yesterday with Paul Nicholls winning with all three runners, creating a 6/1 treble on the day.  I highlighted Sir Mark Prescott’s runner in Ireland which won at 11/10, whilst there were a couple of non runners to accompany a 3/1 winner and a 25/1 placed horse via the MMA service which failed to deliver the type of form we have been witnessing this last week unfortunately.  There were further winners however for Charlie Appleby, Mark Johnston and Tom Lacey as well as the Paul Nicholls trio to extend their respective ‘in form’ tags + 11/1 double for Ben Haslam via his only two runners!

*Point of order – Saturday’s Newton Abbot meeting has already been lost because of a waterlogged track

THURSDAY’S STAT ATTACK:

WETHERBY (Five year study unless stated):

34 races – 16  winning favourites – All 34 winners scored at a top price of 14/1

Average Placepot dividend: £70.98

Highest dividend: £237.60 (2012) – Lowest dividend: £9.40 (2015)

Leading trainers at the corresponding meeting during the study period:

Unfortunately, no trainer managed to record three winners but of the seven handlers who scored with two runners during the study period, Mark Walford’s 44/1 double last year points me in the direction of his two declarations on the card today.  Given that Mark has saddled a 6/1 winner and a 10/1 runner up via his last five runners, perhaps savers (at least) on Uno Valeroso (3.05) and Cash To Ash (3.40) should be considered.
