No stand out trainer this far….

TWO-YEAR-NOTES (Thank you for all your kind remarks yesterday):

NOTTINGHAM 1.50:

Barend Boy sets a reasonable standard via two good efforts thus far but jungle drums suggest that John Gosden would be a tad disappointed if his Tamayuz newcomer Daarik failed to sore at the first time of asking.  John describes his February foal as being a “quite sharp, well made individual who has a good action – one of our earlier types”.

Charlie Fellowes also reports his Charm Spirit colt Mayfair Spirit possessing plenty of potential – maybe one to keep an eye out for later in the season.  Small saver at a big price?

CHEPSTOW 2.10:

Mick Channon got the ball rolling for us at the first time of asking yesterday and the trainer is particularly sweet on his debutante Swinging Jean who is available at 9/1 in a few places this morning.  It will be interesting to note her strength/weakness in the market as the morning unfolds, given that Mick’s 11/4 winner for us yesterday was available at 7/1 as dawn was breaking.
