I make the point that when the chance for winning races has gone, jockeys must be presumed guilty of ‘dropping their hands’ aboard favourites, at the very least, on more than a few occasions!

Proof (if you need it?): Over 63% of market leaders that did not win their respective events – finished out of the (exact science) frame.

Jockey headline:

I very rarely mention jockeys as they are only as good as their agents (not my words – but from the man himself recently) – but Brian Hughes has grabbed my attention for the second time in November – securing a strike rate of 33% via 27 winners (+42 LSP)!

For the record, Brian has a ride in each of the seven races at Wetherby today – ranging between 6/4 & 33/1 – if you have some loose change about your person, Brian’s mounts might be worth an interest in doubles and trebles – at least offering some afternoon entertainment!

Be lucky – but also be aware!
