Mal Boyle Stats – Wednesday 6th

Tuesday’s school report:

I apologise for ‘hitting the woodwork’ so frequently these last few days, with four second placed horses again yesterday at 11/1 (returned at 7/1), 10/1 (8/1), 7/2 & 5/2 (7/4).

Thankfully a 13/2 chance won for us late doors when scoring at 11/2 but you will never see my hiding behind one winner because that just won’t do.

Gunning for winners today and the horses will do as they’re told, take it as read!

Yesterday’s lone two year old mentioned in dispatches won at 6/4 but again, that’s not what this service was set out to do, not without other winners accompanying short priced gold medallists at least.

Leading trainer for future use is Gay Kelleway (3 winners at 25/1, 8/1 & 9/4**) who is not represented today – 2018 ratio at Wolverhampton stands at 4/13 (LSP: 29 points)

TWO YEAR OLD NOTES:

2.00 Hamilton:

Kevin Ryan has produce level stake profits of 15 points via 25 juvenile winners at Hamilton down the years and though there is no early support for his raider Princes Des Sables, a minimum each way play might produce more profit.

2.20 Wolverhampton:

Providing he adapts to this all weather surface. Burj should win with the minimum fuss having finished third at the first time of asking at Newbury,  form which has already been franked to good effect. Saeed Bin Suroor was full of praise for his Dansili colt earlier in the year.

6.00 Kempton:

Beyond Reason should prove difficult to beat and the 5/6 quote which was on offer early doors this morning has probably disappeared as fast as I used to ‘clear away’ from my in-laws in the dim and distant past.

Ralph Beckett has scored with one of his ten juvenile runners this season and though Cruck Railie is proving easy to back this morning, watch out for a half decent effort with an eye for the future.  Ralph talked enthusiastically about his Kodiac filly a few months back.

6.10 Wetherby:

James Tate is 2/7 at this venue to date and one of those victories was posted by his only previous juvenile raider at the track.  Double Quick was the subject of some warm words from the trainer via a stable visit earlier in the year which makes this an interesting declaration.

  2. Thank you as ever kind Sir – it’s just a frustrating run that with a little bit more luck – could have been a golden period. Take care Yuri, offering sincere thanks as ever.
