O’Connell Impressive Victory on Kayanna

In an impressive opening of her account, Kayanna’s Back, under the guidance of jockey Eddie O’Connel, has made all to score a very comfortable victory in the ‘Tipperary Going For 26′ Handicap Hurdle at Clonmel.

Trained by John Cahill, the mare made all, clearing the field entering the straight, ridden and kept on well two furlongs from the finish, to record a victory by ten lengths over runner up Coosan Belle.

“She stays three miles and wants that ground. She loves it fast.

“We’ll see if we can find something in Listowel for her,” Cahill said after the race.
