Olympics Tips from Punting Ace

Betting on things like the Olympics isn’t normally something I’d readily get involved in, but the main reason for that is because I know absolutely nothing about (a) the sports, (b) the competitors and with that in mind (c) how on earth I’d ever know what should or shouldn’t be a value selection. I’d be betting blind in other words and that’s never a particularly good position to be in!

However, when I heard that there are literally tens of millions being traded on some virtually unknown events in the 2008 Olympics I decided to do some research into it and see what all the fuss was about. In the Far East, especially, some of the big bookmakers are reporting individual bets of up to $1,000,000 US, so there’s obviously a market for it that I’d never considered.

This led to me checking out a few of the non-UK betting sites I frequent quite regularly and I discovered that one in particular, Punting Ace, who I’ve come to respect very highly over the last year or two, have set up a dedicated section on their website with some great betting advice for the Olympics. Their in-house “Olympics Specialist”, who they’ve aptly named “Mr Olympics”, is off to a great start with his first two recommended bets winning at 9/4 and 5/1.

Here’s a little piece of information I picked up from Matt over at Punting Ace….

Our man has burst out of the blocks so to speak hitting his first two suggested bets. He suggested a bet on Stephanie Rice to win the women’s 400 metre medley at odds of 3.25 (suggested to bet down to 2.75), and also selected the Netherlands at odds of 6.0 (bet down to 4.5) to win the women’s 4 x 100 metre freestyle.

Mr. Olympics is full of confidence knowing he has completed more preparation than bookmakers. He is looking forward to taking them for plenty over the Olympics and you can too by following his betting advice. Punting Ace regulars have a fantastic opportunity to take many good bets over the Olympics.

We have decided to make this very high quality information available free (arguably valued at over $400.00 for the duration of the Olympics). Not only can you take the suggested bets, you can also gain a good deal of professional betting knowledge by reading and learning from his comments. Mr. Olympics is a wagering professional having been involved in bookmaking, punting and analyst roles for over 15 years.

I don’t know about you, but many of the sports in the Olympics are about as appealing to me as watching paint dry (neandrathal that I am perhaps!) and if I must endure another two weeks of 24/7 televised Olympics action I’d certainly be happier doing it with some cash down ;-)

I’ve got absolutely no idea who this “My Olympics” is, or even what his track record is like, but I do know the guys from Punting Ace and they have a good solid reputation for providing excellent betting information on a wide range of sports, so you might not go far wrong with this.

Either way, take a good look around their website as you might find it useful.
