Monday saw one losing selection, Tuesday had no selections, today there was one selection and a winner giving us a net, before commission, profit of 2.20 points (£55.00) for the three days and running totals for the trial period of:

S/R: (13/85) 15.29%;    P/L: -20.03 pts (-£500.75);    ROI: -23.56%

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending upon your point of view) York isn’t covered by the system so we are fishing for candidates from the minor meetings whilst everyone else is focussed on the Ebor festival. The system isn’t really suited to festivals, as I’ve said before, so this is understandable but, there are a couple of races that do have quite strong trainer trends however the stats base would be restrictively small in comparison with those generally utilised by the system as a whole. I have to admit (again – I seem to remember having admitted to this before but, confession’s good for the soul or so they say!) that I also tend to concentrate more on the non festival meetings (though I did manage to identify the winner of the Ebor Handicap, Dirar, which boosted my returns for the day ) and so can appreciate the rationale.
