On Course For Profits update 26
C/f: S/R: (13/88) 14.77%; P/L: -23.03 pts (-£575.75); ROI: -26.17% [recommended system stakes - £25 win]
It must be a case of “Ask and ye shall receive”! I hoped for a couple of wins, at a price that would dent the deficit, and (fanfare of glistening trumpets, Seraphim in the wings and background hommes rejoicing) we have had two winners. Saturday had a single selection that obliged at 3.81 (2.81 net) as did Sunday (today) but at the much more respectable odds of 9.60 (8.60 net), giving us healthy weekend figures of 100% S/R, +11.41 points (£285.25) and an ROI of +570.50%.
This, obviously, has made a decent improvement to the running totals for the trial which now read: S/R: (15/90) 16.67%; P/L: -11.62 pts (-£290.50); ROI: -12.91%).
It remains to be seen whether the system is capable of continuing its progress towards a profit but, the heartening aspect of the weekend results was that they it didn’t rely upon a handful of runners with one massive priced winner. The rest of the month now promises to be very interesting – with the caveat that, for optimum performance and to sustain the sort deficits we have experienced, the system really should be followed for the whole season rather, than as this trial, joining mid-way through.
I, and I hope you too, cannot wait for the next week to unfurl. Till next update time, whatever you do, be lucky.
Jez
