Wexford racecourse is located in the place with the largest sunshine quota in all of Ireland, so visitors are off to a great start!
It is also covered in history, having been invaded by both the Normans and the Vikings.
These days, Wexford is home to Irish National Hunt racing, and the only invasions are the occasional foray of a British horse to compete here.

Refreshment Facilities
The main stand houses two bars upstairs, the Bettyville and Carriglawn bars. Also on the grounds is the Long Bar and a cafeteria serving tea, coffee and hot snacks plus the Ivy Roon Bar incorporating a spacious carvery restaurant.
Corporate Facilities
The Carriglawn Room in the upper stand has a self containted bar which is available for corporate entertainment and buffets and can cater for up to 100 people.
