Top Exotic Tips for September 19th: Unmissable Advice!

Day three of the Listowel Harvest Festival will take place on Tuesday and as ever we have a very competitive card to look forward to. Some Cheltenham Festival winners in waiting usually turn up at Listowel this week every year so some races are definitely worth watching. We have a flat card to look forward to on Tuesday and the feature race of the day is the Listed race at 3.50pm, where trainer Joseph O’Brien is looking for three wins on the bounce. Let’s take a look at Tuesday’s exotic tips below.

Exacta – Listowel – 2.05

1st: Master Of The Hunt (2)

2nd: Starliner (3)

Master Of The Hunt was an expensive 230,000 guineas yearling and the well bred colt finished third in a very hot maiden at the Curragh on debut in July. The winner, Henry Longfellow, has since won a Group 1 by five lengths, while the second and the fourth have gone on to win since too. It will be a surprise if he isn’t good enough with Killian Hennessy taking 5lb off with his claim. The most likely threat to the selection is Donnacha O’Brien’s Starliner, who has hit the frame on all three starts to date.

Exacta – Listowel – 3.50

1st: Miramis (3)

2nd: Snowcapped (14)

The competitive 1m1f Listed race is the feature contest of the day and Joesph O’Brien can land it for the third consecutive year with Miramis. Out of The Gurkha, this mare won a Listed race over 7f at Galway in August, and she was only beaten a length into third in Group 3 company at Tipperary this month. The second, Matilda Picotte, won a Doncaster Group 3 this week. Snowcapped might be able to follow her home. She ran very well at the Curragh after a short break recently and will come on for the run.

Exacta – Listowel – 5.35

1st: Eastern Legend (5)

2nd: Van Demon (4)

Eastern Legend stayed on well to win over 1m2f at Down Royal, and followed that up with another great effort when third of 19 at the Curragh since, doing best of those drawn low. The step up in trip will be ideal and she can go close yet again. The horse that could chase him home is Noel Meade’s Van Demon, who showed a lot of guts when winning at Cork recently.
